What Is A Core Group?
Core Groups are small groups of six to ten individuals or five to six married couples who meet simply to “do life together God’s way,” study the Bible or related topical studies, and pray for each other. In this interactive small group setting, you can ask real questions, experience acceptance and support, and grow by discovering and applying God’s answers. We offer groups for college students, singles, married couples, men, women, and seniors.
How Do I Join A Core Group? (Do ONE of the following)
- Attend Core Connection – This is a casual event designed specifically for you to meet and connect with others in your area and stage of life. Before the evening is over, you can sign up to join a Core Group or to visit one, two, or even three groups to find the one that is right for you. We host two Core Connections each year, in January and August.
- Contact the church office – Call Susan Jannetti at 727.934.5903 x 243 or email for information on joining an existing group or starting a new group.
- Complete an online Core Group Request form. Click here.
When & Where Do Core Groups Meet?
Each Core Group decides when and where it wants to meet. Most groups meet in homes, and there are also a few groups that meet at the church or at a local restaurant. We encourage groups to meet once a week, but several groups meet every other week.
