Pack-A-Sack Food Donations for Chronically Hungry Kids in Pasco County
One Community Now encourages churches, businesses and individuals to adopt the Title One Schools in Pasco County to stop food insecurity for chronically hungry children through the Pack-A-Sack 4 Kids program. You can help us provide these children with nutritional, child-friendly, individually packaged snacks, drinks and meals. Each week back packs are filled with individual size portions of food and given to the children to take home so they have nutritious food over the weekend. The children bring the empty back pack back to school on Monday mornings to be refilled for the next week.
Currenlty we are providing back packs of food for 50 children at Gulfside Elementary School and we are hoping to begin provding back packs for students at Paul R. Smith Middle school soon. For more information on on what food items are needed click here or to volunteer with this service project, please contact Patti Templeton at 727-375-8801 ext. 2232.
Food donations should be dropped off at the Generations Christian Church, 1540 Little Road, Trinity, FL 34655 or Seven Springs Self Storage, 2852 Seven Springs Blvd, New Port Richey, FL 34655 during business hours.
