On-going community involvement opportunities.

The Florida Blood Mobile.
We understand the importance of helping others and what better way to give than to give blood to save a life. There is no substitute for blood. It has to come from one person in order to give to another. A critical number of voluntary donations are required every day to meet the need for blood in the Tampa Bay area.  We host the blood mobile once each quarter on our campus. The Blood Mobile will be at GCC in 2010 on Sunday, March 28, June 20, Aug 22 and Nov 7 from 8 am - 1 pm. Please plan to give the gift of life.

Relay for Life.
The Relay for Life is the signature event for the American Cancer Society. Teams of 8-15 people raise money to support cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services, but the relay is much more than a fundraiser. It is also an opportunity for the community to come together to celebrate those who have survived cancer, to remember those who have lost their battle and to support those who are still fighting this dreadful disease.

The 2010 Relay For Life of Trinity will be held on  May 7-8 at J.W. Mitchell High School. The theme will be "Once Upon a Cure". Those who would like more information are invited to a Kick-Off Celebration that will be held in the Palm Room at the Seven Springs Golf and Country Club at 6 PM on Tues., Oct.20. Please RSVP to Event Chair, Sheila Stiles at  727.944.8602  727.944.8602 .
