About the Area: Florida has an extremely high population of homeless people, and the city of Tampa is home to many of them. Metropolitan Ministries works in three area counties (Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco) to serve those in need and work with them to get back on their feet. For the GCC team, mission activities will include serving the homeless and at-risk families by providing Bible lessons (kids camp), food, clothing and hope (homeless shelter). Daily activities will include family devotions, ministry projects, prayer activities and an evening debrief in which the entire family can participate.
