Week 5: Failure

The rat race demands we measure ourselves by our life successes and failures. We naturally feel that we are getting ahead when we succeed in our job, a sport, or a life accomplishment. By contrast, we feel a deep sense of discouragement when failure in those areas is a reality. Is this how Jesus called us to live? Jesus’ contrasting comment that “some who are first will be last, and some who are last will be first” challenges our life perspective on what true success looks like. This weekend, we will discuss what Jesus really said about failure.

Posted on December 25, 2012 at 5:42 pmThanks for helping me to acirque new concepts about computers. I also have belief that certain of the best ways to keep your notebook computer in perfect condition has been a hard plastic material case, or even shell, that suits over the top of your computer. Most of these protective gear usually are model targeted since they are made to fit perfectly on the natural outer shell. You can buy these directly from the vendor, or via third party places if they are available for your notebook, however its not all laptop could have a spend on the market. Just as before, thanks for your recommendations.

Please pray for 2 men to volunteer for 10 pm-6:30 am shift on Thursday nights at the Homeless Shelter at the Salvation Army citadel when the weather will be rainy or below 40 degrees. Capt Lyons will train. There is no work involved. Show up. Everyone is already bedded down. Stay in a room off the main room. There are windows so you can observe the people sleeping. There are comfy couches to rest on. Bring a laptop, homework, work, books, or watch TV. This shift could be split between two groups of two.James told me that I have not because I ask not. So I am asking.
